    It's a tough desicion between Hoenn, Sinnoh, Alola, Galar, and Paldea

    Paldea loses thanks to Skeledirge

    Alola is a bit mid compared to the others

    Hoenn gets some points docked because of Swampert

    I only like Infernape in Sinnoh but the three has really great balance

    Galar has a good trio, but I don't really like Rillaboom

    Hmm...

    Perhaps nostalgia is a large factor, but I think they really got it right on the first try. The Kanto trio's designs are simple and really communicate to which elemental type they belong. No one thinks the red dinosaur with a flame on its tail might be water type. At this point they are iconic and even non-gamers will harken back to choosing a Kanto starter.

    There are individual starters I like more, but there is no other trio where I like every single choice.

    So Kanto via Let's GO Eevee? Despite the fact you can't evolve said Eevee(they boost its base stats as a result and give you an OP STAB TM in Headbutt after beating Brock that will carry you until Erika or so when Evolved Pokemon stop being OHKO and can strike back(or even hit you first).

    As for the topic at hand, only one region has a trio that I'd take all 3 and would be happy with my choice. That region would be Hoenn. Mega Evolution helps a ton but even without it, Sceptile benefits a ton from all the Water types, Swampert can solo the game himself thanks to his typing and Blaziken gets Fighting typing, giving him some STAB coverage against Rock, Normal and other typings his Fire STAB already hits(Steel and Ice; crushes Bug + Grass too).

    Honorable mention to Kanto since they've been buffed a lot since their Gen 1 debut.

    I don't think there is one that I'd be happy with all three

    The closest one to that feeling is Galar, but I'm just neutral on Rillaboom
