I know this will be an unpopular opinion, but I don't see information leaks as that big of a problem. Companies have a right to try and keep the details private, of course, and I don't doubt that they will try and bring some legal charges against the leaker eventually.

But as a customer and fan of the games (despite my criticism) I think knowing as much as possible about the games before I purchase them can only benefit me and allow me to make more informed purchasing decisions.

I am also a person not overly concerned with spoilers, but I understand there are those who want to avoid them. Unfortunately that is just the consequence of having the entire world connected and able to share every tidbit they learn about anything instantaneously. If you want to avoid them, you just have to avoid everything but official trailers at this point. And even then, companies often spoil plots in their own trailers.

The employees' personal data is still unacceptable leak fodder. Knowing that doesn't benefit anyone and has nothing to do with the games themselves. It should not have been made available, and I unreservedly condemn it.

Again, the insight into past projects was really interesting. It could make for great products later down the line, once the information is no longer sensitive or relevant to upcoming projects.

They could release art books with beta designs, documentaries and developer journals recording the development and the internal thought processes, perhaps even playable demos of cut content if it were in a salvageable state.

It wouldn't be for every fan, but enthusiasts would eat that content up, and the information and records would just be sitting around and eventually lost to time otherwise.

leaking personal information from employees, and leaking spoilers for upcoming projects is NOT OK, absolutely horrible and that should’ve not been done. I do think seeing past unseen content, old betas, early beta and cut Pokemon , HD Artwork, and development images ,concept art, and even full on lore and character profiles are very cool and interesting to look at. The model sheets have very nice artwork, and it’s insane how we now have sprites for the cut Blazeakin and latias fusion. I am also very shocked that Scraggy was planed for Gen3, similar to Shellos and gastradon. Beta Cacturne is also super scary.

Also, it me or does the cut brown Dino from unova look strikingly similar to Baxcalibur?

Why must there be wrong doers?

Why can't people just be nice?

What is the world coming to?

    When will the suffering end?

Those two acts are definitely not equivalent. There are differing levels of unacceptable. One is a crime that could actually see people get hurt, the other could at worst annoy people and lessen their experience of a video game.

Not that you were necessarily equivocating them. I just want people to keep things in perspective.

If I want to make a scary pokemon, something that isn't warrant for capture yet vital for the story line.

I understand, I don’t like the spoilers and leaking emails is UNACCEPTABLE, I hope the employees can recover , I am more interested in looking at unseen beta content from past generations. Today we found out that MEWTHREE was a thing.

An interesting thing I saw was a discussion between the people in charge of tpc in regards to removing ash from the anime, supposedly people there have wanted Ash to leave for 20 years.
