Cheesy Pokemon Humor

WARNING: If you don't like cheesy jokes, stop reading.

The other day, a friend of mine gave me the idea for a joke. It goes like this:

Pokemon Trainer Fred and Pokemon Trainer Sally are feuding. To prove his Pokemon are superior to Sally's every way, Pokemon Trainer Fred teaches his Pikachu to play the guitar. In retaliation, Pokemon Trainer Sally teaches her Machop to sing. In order to stay one step ahead, Pokemon Trainer Fred teaches his Mudsdale to play the drums. However, before Pokemon Trainer Sally can teach another one of her Pokemon to play an instrument, the Mudsdale, the Pikachu, and the Machop run away and form a band together. They play together for a few years, but don't get any significant fame. After a big argument, the band breaks. Later that day, the Mudsdale goes to a bar, feeling depressed. The bartender asks, "Hey, the long face?"
