You can have more than one Pokemon 😁
(I think I have like 71 licenses now but only use actively a little less than half of those.... 🤔... I still am learning the others).
Plus it's good to have a variety of positions. Delphox is considered an attacker and Jolteon will be a speedster.
I did also recently unlock Delphox 😎 (after 3 games I still have to get the timing figured out and held items etc). Too cool!

Technically, that's possible, but I prefer sticking to my very favourites.

It is awesome! That's why I'm trying to learn it. Does great attk dmg but I kept getting KOd. Hmmmm might need to play with held items or get better wifi so less lag, lol.

Oops… umm anyone have super glue? We got an exploding duck problem over here…

Yeah, I learned quickly with the failure that was my first free license event (a year ago Latios or Latias?) that participation and daily mission completions are a must for earning the new ones for free. Been doing that since.
With the 5 free box giveaways, crazy amount of License points giveaways this past month for daily logins and the changes to the how we unlock Pokemon, I have unlocked a ton of them recently. I used to go for my favorites which all tended to be higher gold coin amounts so the license point ladder forced me to go back and unlock ones I wouldn't have but am finding they are quite enjoyable as I have been finally trying them out, mostly at night at Groudon or Anniversary stadium.
Wow. Talk about a run on sentence. Sorry.
Delphox was a special pick for me though. I've watched and been obliterated by Delphox in ranked and just had to have it.

If the answer is "yes" then it doesn't really matter how many Pokemon you have, as long as you can get the ones you want, eventually, and enjoy playing the game.
