    The little mermaid

    As little girl me, yeah Little Mermaid rocked (we would recreate the water scenes, exploding out of a small above ground pool and whipping our hair back singing at the tops of our lungs, or swirling the water to make the whirlpool effect 😁)... we knew all the songs by heart. Same with Beauty & the Beast and Aladdin, and probably others. Mulan & Pocahontas came out when I was a tad older, but I still enjoyed them. Hmmmm I think I only saw Hercules once....

    And The rescuers.… Wow! Memories!!!

    I wasn't very big on disney, the only Disney movies that really come to me are the later Pixar stuff like Toy Story, Up, and Cars (which I did have some of the DS games for them).

    Tough choice. I like Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, Hercules and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, but I think I have to go for The Lion King.

    I have never seen Aladdin, but I did play the Sega Mega Drive game as a kid. Does that more or less cover it?

    Zero to Hero, enough said. Not a huge fan of that movie but you have to admit that song is one of their better ones.

    I will mention a non-Disney movie that probably falls in the previous category or 80's era in An American Tail. The signature song in that movie is a tearjerker(especially if you remember Polly Klass and them singing it at her funeral. Honestly surprised the perp responsible for her murder still hasn't been executed but then I'm reminded it's CA... What else is new).

    Sorry for the mild political rant but just some childhood history here.

    my era of disney films

    Aladdin, Mulan, Tarzan…but my favorite of this era was The rescuers down under. I absolutely loved that movie
