Game Freak is focusing also on titles outside of Pokemon, which is smart of them but also takes away attention from their main entries. Remember, they were featured on an Xbox Showcase.

Sequels and Spinoffs? Well… I don't know how that would happen… Besides, most of the time it is usually done by others. Let's see…
Pokken? Bandai Namco | Conquest? Koei Tecmo (who's working on Pokopia) | Mystery Dungeon? Heh… As if Chunsoft already has enough on their plate with Shiren and others..
Black and White 3? While it may be nice, I don't think Game Freak wants to deal with the region that caused them to lose their motivation for a while… if anything, ICLA would rather work in BW remakes (which I imagine no matter what they do, fans will NOT be satisfied).
While I do believe they are neat ideas, I feel like Pokemon needs to be in WAY different circumstances in order those games to be considered. I'd love to see Detective Pikachu 2 (the movie, not the game), I feel like Pokemon needs to be able to take that risk of working with those studios again, something that after the flames of Unova and the Switch era, I doubt they'd want to take…
