Unite: Make the Move Selection During Game Play An OPTION In Settings Instead of Feb 25 Changes
The announcement of the upcoming changes to take away the in-match selection of moves and attacks when a Pokemon levels up, takes away our ability to adapt to the match gameplay situation as needed. Many of us LIKE the ability to select WHILE in match.
Do not take away our choice.
Consider adding a toggle switch in gameplay settings. Make the default to be set to restrict or only allow preselected moves and ALLOW US TO CHOOSE if we want to be able to select WHILE IN MATCH DURING BATTLES which attacks or moves to use.
If you implement an option in settings, then the reasons listed in the announcement, for beginning players and for people who feel the in game choice interferes with battles or causes a loss of concentration, will still, by default, have the benefits of the upcoming changes. HOWEVER then the rest of us who WANT CHOICE IN GAMEPLAY DURING MATCHES will also be happy and less likely to stop playing and or supporting the game.

I apologize. The title of this post is incorrect. The changes are planned to happen on February 27th, not the 25th.
They are updating Unite to only allow preselection of move & attacks and will not allow us to choose via the popups on screen while actually battling (in match) as we do now.
I am requesting they make this change not mandatory, but an option so those of us who would rather choose while in the matches which attacks/moves we will use upon leveling up, have the ability to do so. An easy fix would be to allow a selection toggle switch in one of our settings for gameplay (same place you can choose other gameplay options).

Oooooh!! I want the selecttion in game not before becuase I hed a startagy with venusaur that depended which roloes my team needed.

Exactly my point! With an added toggle selection choice in the settings, you me, and others could continue to play the way we prefer. With their upcoming changes, we won't be able to play that way. 😐

Updates occured last night for me.
BEWARE: The update reset all my previously selected and saved move paths.
A show of support for in match selection of move paths and/or the ability via a suggested option in gameplay settings would be greatly appreciated.

There are other posts regarding this same issue in the Unite Feedback section. I would like to remind those who do agree with this to please show your support here too and vote. Thank you to those who have done so already. I would really like to see this remedied asap.

maybe link to this post? I didn’t even know this particular feedback forum existed until 20 minutes ago. I pretty much assumed everything in the main menu was game-related so I never scrolled down past UNITE.
