I’m counting types the pokemon could evolve into

I like a few diff eevees, so I'm flexible everyone. That said though, I would really like a Drakeon 🤩. (I use a dragon type in one of my TCGP decks with the rough skin ability and that has saved me a few times)

You look at the sad Eevee and can't help but feel sorry. "Hey," you say gently, crouching down to it. The dog jumps and shrinks away, shaking with fear. "I won't hurt you!"
You smile at it, extending your hand to it. Cautiously, the Pokémon sniffs your fingers. It looks up at you nervously before taking a step closer, rubbing its head against your palm. "Yeah, it's okay," you reassure it. "You want to come with me? I won't treat you like your last trainer did."
Eevee considers this for a second, staring into your eyes. Finding no sign of deceit, it nods in agreement. "Great," you exclaim, your smile widening. You pull out a Pokéball and tap it against Eevee's forehead. A beam if light absorbs it, without a single shake, it dings.
You stand up and pocket the ball. Then, you go over to your Pokémon that just battled and heal them up before returning them. You're ready to leave, but then the little boy stops you.
"E-Excuse me," he stutters, tugging on your shirt. "Th-Thank you f-for getting rid of them."
You smile down at him. "No problem," you tell him.
"I-I don't have much I can give you, b-but take this, please," he says as he offers you a Miracle Seed. "It's not much, but it's something..."
You take it from him with a thankful not. "Thank you!"
"No, thank you," the boy responds happily. You give him a wave as you walk away, continuing your trip to the next town.
Time Skip that has a bunch of random wild Pokémon fights
You finally make it to Histaria, the town with the next Gym. It's a small town that doesn't really have much. There are many houses that all look identical. Of these houses, most of them are abandoned. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the homes, but yet they're all empty. It gives you chills from the eeriness
"This is kind of creepy..." you mutter too yourself.
"You should see this place at night," a voice says from behind you, causing you to jump at least three feet into the air. The person laughs. "Sorry! Didn't mean to scare you!"
You look at the one that scared you and see a male that's late teens to early twenties with short blonde hair and golden eyes. He's wearing a simple white T-shirt, light blue skinny jeans, and neon yellow sneakers. He's looking at you with a whole lot of excitement.
"You're fine," you tell him after your soul returns to your body. "Who exactly are you?"
"Oh, right! Where are my manners? I'm Denki," he tells you with a wide smile. "I'm the Electric type Gym Leader of this town."
"That's what I'm here for," you say happily, returning his smile.
"Really," he asks excitedly. "That's awesome! I haven't gotten a challenger since..." he pauses, thinking. "Well, actually I had a guy yesterday but before then it was about three years."
"Why's that," you inquire. He sighs.
"Well, about five years ago our old Gym Leader died. That's when I took over," he explains. "Everybody used to love her, especially people like me that grew up here with her. She was just so nice and someone could instantly warm up to. Well, near the end of her time challengers started to stop coming. Makes sense considering we have a champion that is considered undefeatable. At first it was fun but then, as more and more people lost to them people started giving up on being champion and stopped challenging the Gym."
"That's awful," you say, not really sure what else to say.
"Yeah, it is," Denki replies with a sigh. "Once business was as dead our old Gym Leader people started leaving the town, which is why the place is so abandoned." You nod and look around as you two stand in silence for a bit. "Welp, enough chit-chat. Let's head to the Gym and get to battling!"
"Yeah," you agree, following him down the silent street. Denki leads you to the Histaria Museum of Lacos History. "Why are we here?"
"The Gym is here," he answers. "The prior Gym Leader loved history, so she had her Gym put here. It's not bad if you're into that stuff, but I like more modern things. I just didn't change the place the Gym is in respect to the Gym Leader."
You follow him into the building and see a room filled with old paintings, sculptures, and more. One of the things that immediately catch your attention is four photos that line the right wall. You walk up to them to take a look.
"Something catch your eye," the blonde asks, following you. He looks at the images and nods. "Ah, yes. Those are all our past champions."
"There's only four," you observe as you continue to admire them.
"Yeah, that's because Lacos is pretty new," the Gym Leader tells you. "It was discovered only 200 years ago. That may sound like a long time, but compared to most other regions that's pretty recent. The Champion thing has only been going for about 75 years. Started with the guy on the left and shows each champion after. Our current one has had the title for about 18 years."
The first one is in black and white. It has a man with a buzz cut and beard. He's in a suit and stands with perfect posture as he stares at you with a lifeless expression. Next to him is a Machamp that is standing just as formal. The next picture has color and it contains a woman lounging on a couch. She wears all black and has wild white hair. She has her hand up with the rock out sign and her tongue out her mouth. There's an Obstagoon standing behind her that has a very smug expression.
After her is a boy with short brown hair and bright blue eyes. He's in a bright red T-shirt and black shorts. He's got an arm wrapped around the Gardevoir next to him with the other giving a peace sign to the camera. He and the Gardevoir have a wide, excited smile. The last picture is the most recent. The person in it has their back turned to the camera. They are wearing a black leather jacket and matching black jeans. They have a black fedora with a little bit of brown hair showing at their neck. A Charizard stands behind them, glaring at the camera with its wings spread.
"That's our current champion," Denki tells you, looking at the picture with you. "The only picture we have of them." His eyes roam over all the photos. "You know, I may not be a history fan, but I love these. Seeing each champion with their partner and how similar to their Pokémon they are." He sighs softly. "Anyways, let's battle!"
He runs over to an empty area of the museum and looks back at you. "You coming," he asks as he sends out a Luxio.

Hey, I made a small edit
I forgot to include a part explaining why there is only four champions (I was multitasking as I wrote this so I didn't realize I didn't write it)
Anyways, I'll put it right here as a summary
Lacos has only been doing the champion thing for 75 years and the current champion has had the title for 18 years
Probably would have had more if the current one wasn't so strong
