Lol, that might break into pieces at the first lightning bolt ⚡! Hee, hee then again, if Pika stepped on the pieces afterwards, "Ouch!" that would probably work like a rocky helmet card, causing dmg.

Fine... I give in... go ahead with Eevee, but someday... SOMEDAY... the Charcadet will have its' day to shine!!!

"Great job, Floragato! Take a rest," you tell your partner. The cat sighs with relief as a red beam of light takes it back to its ball. "Go, Eevee!"
The dog barks weakly. It's trying to be tough, but definitely failing. It looks back at you, looking unsure about this. "Remember our training," you say, giving a thumbs up. On the trip here, you used it against some of the wild Pokémon you encountered, trying to boost its confidence.
It still looks hesitant, but faces the opponent and gets ready to fight. "A bit timid, I see," Denki observes. "Anyways, Quick Attack!"
"Use Quick Attack, too," you command.
The two Pokémon push off the ground, charging at each other with binding speed. They make contact at the same time. The collide, both getting knocked back from the hit. "Equal in speed," the Gym Leader exclaims. "Well don't slow down. Agility!"
Pikachu begins to approach, getting quicker with each step. "Don't let it get close," you say. "Swift!"
Eevee howls, summoning some stars to its tail. It then does a small flip, launching the stars at the mouse, which can't do anything but take the hit. "Back it up and let's go ranged," Denki shouts. The opponent bounces back a bit. "Use Electro Ball!"
Pikachu starts muttering a string of "Pika" under its breath as it leaps into the air. Electricity gathers at its tail and quickly forms into an orb. It then flips, throwing the ball at Eevee.
"Dodge it," you holler, but it's too late. The attack crashes into your Pokémon, which gets sent tumbling backwards. Eevee struggles to its feet, much of its little confidence quickly disappearing. "Don't let this get to you. Use Swift, again!"
Eevee begins to gather stars again, but Denki shakes his head. "I don't think so! Volt Tackle!"
The speed boost from Agility really shows as Pikachu sprints across the field, a whole lot of electricity covering its entire body.
"Quick change of plans," you rush out. "Baby Doll Eyes!"
The dog immediately changes actions, closing its eyes briefly before looking at the opponent with adorable wide eyes. The mouse makes an "aaaaaaw" sound as its attack gets lowered. It still rams into your Pokémon, but dealing less damage than it would have.
"Nice move," your opponent admires. "But we'll just go back to ranged. Electro Ball!"
Pikachu begins to build electricity again, but now its your turn to shake your head. "I don't think so," you say, quoting Denki. "Quick Attack!"
Eevee shoots forward, knocking the Electric type down before it can attack. "Don't let up," you command. "Use Bite!"
The dog wastes zero time, chomping down on the downed opposing Pokémon. Pikachu atempts to get up, but fails and collapses, unconscious. "You beat him," the Gym Leader states with surprise as he returns his Pokémon.
"You did it," you exclaim happily to Eevee. The dog doesn't seem to realize that it won at first, but as soon as it does it begins jumping up and down, barking proudly.
"Looks like I'm down to my final Pokémon," Denki trells you, sending a Lanturn. "Prepare to fall to my ace!"
Decision time!
