It depends.
If it's in the Pokémon world, I would just become an explorer.
If it's in the real world, I already have enough issues when it comes to differentiating between reality and imagination. Also I'd start my own religion that believes in Arceus.

It really depends on the species, but I would probably help others. If I was a Ditto or Mew, though, I might start by enjoying my new transformation powers.

I would play pranks on people by doing things that I would've done if I was still a human, like sleeping in my bed, eating at the dinner table, and generally continuing to act like nothing had changed. Then, I could try to figure out some way to communicate with humans, and in time I'd be recognized as the most intellegent pokemon ever. I would be the first Wigglytuff to earn a Nobel prize.
