My final UNITE post.
(Apologies if this is a little darker than my usual tone, but Unite’s death is pretty dark)
On the 24th of January, I made my first ever post here, about the ridiculous Falinks bug that made it unplayable. The game is ending in March next year, which me and a lot of people are quite p*ssed about. They had all the money they needed to save the game, and chose to shut it down over some petty lawsuits. They genuinely could have kept it running for another 5 years if they had just kept it in the amazing state that was the 4th anniversary. But somehow, they found a way to monetise unlocking Pokémon and make new releases something to dread instead of look forward to. And after all this time, Falinks has not got a SINGLE meaningful buff. Sure, there was that one time it got a slight damage increase, and the 3 or so unnecessary nerfs, but it remains the worst Pokémon in the game after 2 years of existing. How ironic that I joined the game because of Falinks, and left partly because of it too. Let’s take some time to mourn this game’s end, and all the community’s attempts to convince TiMi to fix the game that never worked. One day I hope somebody in the community revives UNITE so we can all enjoy it again, and it’ll never die because it’s in the hands of somebody who cares about the game rather than money.

i cold hartedly agree and im sorry im going to miss this game myself its the game that broke me from my antisocial life style got me talking to people again and making new freinds i never new so many people were just like me irl it made me happy to find other people i could bond with and enjoy playing with i hope all of us can find each other again and be freinds again in the future thank you everyone

I'll still be there till the end.
My final farewell will come later. I'm not ready to let go yet. There's still time (5 months) and memories to be made with friends.

As a long time Dota 2 player (I have also tried some mobile MOBA games) I have to say that the worst part about Unite ending is that there isn't a real alternative to replace it... at least for me.
I'm not even mentioning that playing with Pokemon makes it special... but the simplicity, the gameplay and the style are unique... there isn't any similar MOBA game out there that I can play to replace it.
I guess I'll go back to playing Dota 2, but it's a very different experience...
