    I was gonna say Other: Transportation, but War would likely be a part of daily life in this case.

    War. These creatures can summon lightning, floods, fire and rock slides. They can hypnotise enemies. Some of them are believed to literally control the natural elements and forces of the universe.

    Of course the first thing governments are going to do is look at the military applications.

    I am sure some Pokémon you would need a licence for. Some would be banned from civilian ownership entirely. We already have that for real life animals with mundane abilities.

    And as I have said before when this topic comes up, the world in general would be a lot more terrifying. People die when they encounter bears or poisonous snakes in the wild. Imagine meeting a Gyarados or Arbok.

    Yeah, since ordinary civilians can use Pokémon to fight back they aren't defenseless targets anymore

    if pokemon exists in the real world the normal people probably wouldn't have access to them im betting the population will be 0 as magcargo causes the world to end

    School would be different. 10 yr olds wandering the world when they presently are herded into school would be a big change no? I mean yeah school would still exist but it wouldn't be compulsory is what I'm getting at.
