What's Going On With Ranked Level Rewards?
Last night (for me), the ranked season ended and after a quick update we were able to go back in lobby to confirm the just-ended season rank level.
After confirming the earned level you could jump into another match. I choose instead to receive my new ranked season rewards prior to playing a round.
The question is....
Did anyone else notice that if you were a Master level for the just-ended season and we got bopped back down to various Ultra levels (depending on our finishing Master x number), that when we claim rewards, the new avatar gear is labeled as a "Master" reward and not, like in previous seasons, as an Ultra level 5 reward?
Have we switched to receiving earnings from previous seasons or are we still earning for the new current season?
Does this mean rewards will only be handed out at the end of a season going forward?
Or is this just a glitch/typo and should really be for when someone ranks up to "Ultra" or has been bopped down due to season restart?
I'm confused.
But hey, the white gear is cool 😎 and reminiscent of previous gear.
(By the way, I did not see any new profile frames or backgrounds for the various Master levels. Only tickets are listed as rewards until one earns Legend rank. Then one can earn a player icon frame. Good luck!)
