Why do I even bother.
I'm kinda fed up of complaining at this point, but someone needs to do it. Literally my entire identity is criticizing this game, and I'm not proud of it. Maybe one day they'll fix it, but while we wait, here is the reason why I'm writing this:
I was feeling pretty bored, so I decided to hop onto the game. The usual 5 or so ads for exclusively paid content got swiftly skipped past, and once I was out of that mess I decided to play a ranked battle. I picked my main, Sirfetch'd (aka the only Pokemon I love, obtained, and isn't useless), as my teammates picked a Vaporeon, Lucario, Talonflame, and Eldegoss. Then the Eldegoss decided to switch to Meowscarada, going from amazing to underpowered. The opponents picked Clefable (which shut half our team down), Umbreon, Gyarados, Decidueye, and Gardevoire. The laning phase went as usual, my teammate throwing the game away as our opponents mashed my face in. Eventually, Lucario decided to ditch me and left me with a level 6 Talonflame that played like a 7 year old (the rest of the team were level 8, and Talon was our jungler). They then nosedived into the opposing Gyarados and fed free exp to them for the next minute or two. I made a dive at Regieleki and missed the KO by the split second. My team then proceeded to make no progress whatsoever and the only two who knew the objective of the game were me and our Meowscarada. The final fight wasn't even close, and we lost 150 to 1025 or something like that. I then proceeded to look at the battle results and the enemy team had done so much each and everyone except me and Meows had done barely any damage or support. This wasn't just one game. This is every single time I log on. Awful matchmaking and the fact that you can't get Pokemon you want make this a game that feels it urges you to delete it. I don't even get draft, the one gamemode where teams are well built. Not deleting it is almost as hard as winning.
