well (most of) them aren’t they just want More mario and Zelda (even though there is some I might add) and just ignoring the niche franchises they haven’t played or tried yet, and most the YouTuber people complaining are complaining that there’s no Big game to milk content and get them millions of views

The niche franchises also happen not to be exclusives, and most people buy Nintendo stuff specifically for the exclusives like Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Pokemon, and whatnot. Sure there are some cool games on it but nothing really that unique that makes me really wanna get a Switch 2 plus not a lot of new releases mostly rereleases. But yeah the lineup is fine but I expected more Nintendo, Metal Gear Solid seems cool to have and the new Yoshi game seems interesting but I don't really care that much about it. I wonder what the new Splatoon game will be like.

Switch 2 exclusive library simply isn’t good enough to warrant people upgrading from the old Switch and it’s internal Hardware isn’t good enough to justify its $500 price tag with a digital game(which used to be free). Which brings me back to the fact that a former EA exec is running Nintendo’s NA operations. EA is notorious for greed and ripping people off. It’s a wonder how Nintendo is following in their footsteps. You want a bad PR, look no further than the people leading the company. I don’t fault them for prioritizing Shareholders but if you want to destroy any goodwill or PR you had, then they’re doing a damn good job of it. Difficult to get back too but easy to destroy.

Primary reason they delayed the Switch 2 for as long as they did was because their games weren’t ready yet. They still aren’t and won’t be for another year. That’s why they should have beefed up the Switch 2 specs but we’re cheap and went with Ampere instead of Lovelace(despite it having Lovelace enhancements).
