What are y’all’s thoughts on the switch 2 lineup?
I think it’s good. the people who think it’s bad probably aren’t Nintendo fans, just Mario and Zelda fans (and smash.) which isn’t bad but they shouldn’t be complaining it’s still a good lineup without those two franchises (that I don’t really care for besides 2d Mario)

Yeh the switch 2 launch lineup is good except there’s no PQ2

You guys should at least try rhythm heaven it’s on switch one also they’re also old games that you should play but if you emulate them do it on the original console if not there is lag

When judging the merits of any platform, you want to hear from a range of people, not just fans, but you also want to be as objective as possible. You are unlikely to get an objective opinion from people who are predisposed to like a platform before it's even announced.
That said, people who are uninformed or predisposed to hate it are equally flawed in their analysis.
For my part, the Switch 2's biggest problems are with Nintendo's business practices more than its game line-up. Third party support has also been much stronger than previous eras, so even if you are not interested in first party titles, there is a third party library to compensate.
That said, given that I primarily game on PC when it comes to new releases, so I would be buying a Switch 2 on the strength of its exclusives. And the games I was interested in, Metroid Prime 4 and PLZA (though the latter is also on Switch 1) look disappointing to me.
There are going to have to be much better exclusives before I consider a Switch 2. Gen 10 could be one of the games to do that, but honestly I do not think Game Freak are capable of making it into a game that would do that for me, be it due to lack of assigned time, or resources, or the will to make the type of Pokémon game for me anymore.
We'll have to see how things go, and I am open to being proven wrong, but so far I have little faith or interest in the Switch 2.
