Corviknight is awesome 🤩! I like my TCG cards so much!

I agree with @Evolve8eon this time. Sprigatito since it has learned a new attk and grown from the experience. (Question, what's the hp or how is the health of both Pokemon? We haven't been to a healing center nor did we use anything to heal either after the first battle, or did we?)
1 -
Ok, this time Sprigatito first. (Maybe after the gym battle we can go chase wilds to help Charcadet level up and learn more attks? Is that an option for later?)

Sprigatito

I like it but i like the other options more.

"Go, Sprigatito," you shout, sending out your partner. The Grass Cat is crouched down, tail fluffed up, ready to pounce. Gary sends out a Starly.
"I probably should have said this before the battle begun, but this will be two on two," the Gym Leader tells you, pushing some of his long messy silver out of his face.
"That's fine," you respond. "That's the amount of Pokémon I have."
"Perfect," he says happily. "Now let's go! Use Quick Attack!"
The bird flies forward at blinding speed, slamming into Sprigatito, which is sent tumbling to the ground. "Are you okay," you ask. It meows with a nod, looking determined as it stands back up. "Alright! Then use Bite!"
The cat leaps forward, chomping down on Starly. The Flying/Normal type staggers backwards. "Retaliate with Peck," Gary commands.
The Starling Pokémon jumps at the Grass type, poking it harshly with its beak. Your partner cries out in pain from the super effective hit.
"I'm gonna need you later," you say, returning Sprigatito. "Go, Charcadet!"
The Fire Child pounds its fists together aggressively. "Switch out," your opponent observes. "Smart move!"
"Thanks," you reply. "Let's not waste time. Ember!"
"Don't let it hit," Gary yells. "Quick Attack!"
The opponent move fast, ramming into Charcadet before it can attack. The Fire type stumbles but doesn't fall. It then glows blue as it gets a Defense decrease and then red with the sharp Speed increase. "Quick, use Tackle," you command.
Your Pokémon moves before the two opposers can realize what is happening. Charcadet crashes into Starly, knocking it to the ground. "Weak Armor," the Gym Leader exclaims, his icy blue eyes sparkling with interest. "That's not normal at all!" He then smirks. "But you'll be taking more damage now. Quick Attack, again!"
The bird hits hard, slamming into the Fire Child with immense speed. Your Pokémon glows again as its ability activates. "Hit it back with Ember," you command.
In the blink of an eye Charcadet launches a little blast of fire that burns the Starly. "Don't let them recover," you shout. "Ember, once more!"
Your Pokémon shoots another flame at the bird, but this time it bursts on impact, creating a ring of fire. "That is Fire Spin," Gary exclaims.
"New move," you say happily. Even Charcadet cheers with excitement. Starly staggers as it stands up, but burn and Fire Spin kick in, finishing it off.
"Good job," Gary tells us as he returns his Pokémon. "You know, it's been a while since I've had a challenger with your skill." He sends out a male Eevee. "I'm going to have to go above average for this!"
Even though he just sent out the Pokémon, he returns it. He pulls his hoodie sleeve up, revealing a Dynamax Band. It sends energy into his PokéBall, which grows huge. He then tosses it into the air, stumbling a back a bit as he does. Eevee pops back out the ball, but it is huge and a whole lot fluffier.
"G-Max Eevee," Gary states, his voice full of excitement. "Use G-Max Cuddle!"
Eevee leaps forward, surprisingly fast for its size. It slams into Charcadet. If the Fire Child was Maxed, you're sure it would have looked like Eevee is snuggling against. Instead, it just looks like a bone crushing body slam.
"Are you alright," you ask. It nods. "Good. Then use Fire Spin!" Charcadet shakes its head. "Why not," you question. It turns and looks at you and you see its eyes have become hearts.
"Infatuation," Gary says. "When Eevee uses G-Max Cuddle and the target is the opposite gender, then infatuation occurs."
"So my Charcadet is female," you ask. The Gym Leader nods. "That's probably something I should have checked even I caught it..." you mutter with a sigh.
"You know, I'm surprised that your Pokémon tanked that move with the Defense decreases it has. But now it's over," Gary rambles. "G-Max Cuddle!"
"Dodge it," you holler. Your Fire Child completely ignores you, accepting the hit with literal open arms. You sigh as she falls to the ground with defeat.
You return the Fire type. "One on one, now," the Gym Leader states, looking very confident that he's got this in the bag. You send Sprigatito out, who, although weak, is raring to go.
"Don't let the size intimidate you," you tell it. "Use Leafage!"
Your cat meows loudly as it launches a small orb of green at the giant opponent. The attack lands, but it doesn't look like it actually did anything. "Cute attempt," the opponent says, looking very amused by the move. "But it will take more than that to defeat a Max! G-Max Cuddle!"
Again, Eevee jumps at your cat, which tries to dodge but fails as it gets crushed by the giant dog. Your partner struggles to its feet, hissing lightly. Unlike Charcadet, Sprigatito doesn't have heart shaped eyes, meaning its male. "Good, no infatuation," you mutter with relief. "Use Leafage, again!"
The Grass Cat shoots another ball at the opponent. After the move hits, Eevee begins to shrink, going back to normal. "Ah, out of moves," Gary states. "Back to simple. Use Swift!"
The dog launches a swarm of stars at Sprigatito. "Quick, counter with Leafage," you command. The Grass type moves fast, launching the orbs at each star. It barely manages to stop the last star from hitting, causing a giant cloud of dust to explode in its face.
"Iron Tail," Gary shouts. Eevee took advantage of Sprigatito's lack of sight and slams its tail into your Pokémon's face.
"H-How did you do that," you question. "Eevee can't learn that naturally."
"But with TMs it can," the Gym Leader answers. "Fun little things. Really nice to have."
You clench your jaw as you watch your cat struggle to its feet. Y'all are about to lose. You would need a miracle to win. You consider calling it, but Sprigatito looks back at you with a determined look. It's not giving in, so why should you?
You smile softly, nodding at it. "Was there some sort of telepathic conversation I missed," Gary asks.
"Yeah, but you don't need to know what was said," you reply. "Let's go, use Bite!"
The Grass Cat lunges at the opponent, chomping down hard. The target gets knocked back, obviously getting the hurt. "Alright, not bad," Gary admires. "Quick Attack!"
Eevee dashes in before you can call a counter, ramming its whole body into Sprigatito. "Are you okay," you inquire. Your partner nods weakly, barely standing.
"Time to finish this," the Gym Leader says. "Use Swift!"
"Leafage," you command. The two's attacks collide again, but with each ball Sprigatito makes, it slowly gets sharper and thinner, as if turning into leaves. You realize its a new move and get excited. "Now use whatever you're doing!"
The cat cries out loudly as it summons an army of tiny sharp leaves that flow around it. It meows like its making a command and all the leaves fly at Eevee. "Dodge it," your opponent shouts.
The dog jumps out of the way, but the leaves follow it, all of them hitting it. Once the move disappears, Eevee lies unconscious on the ground. You won! You cheer happily, Sprigatito joining in on this celebration. Gary returns his Pokémon with a sigh.
"Good job," he tells you with a smile. "You beat me. As your reward, I give you this Ordinary Badge." The item is just a small white circle. No design or any other color. Just a white circle. "I'll also give you this TM for Swift. It's a ranged attack that never misses. You don't really need it, with Sprigatito now knowing Magical Leaf, but it may be handy in the future." You accept the disc with a smile, putting it into your bag.
"Hey, I do have a quick question," you tell him. "Did you use G-Max on your last challenger?"
Gary shakes his head. "No. I only use it on the people I think can handle it."
You smile widely, feeling great that he didn't think Jerry is strong enough to take it but knew you could. "Alright! I'll be on my way to the next Gym. See ya!"
"Wait," the Gym Leader states. "It's in the opposite direction, but there is a spot in the nearby forest that has a whole lot of Wishing Stars. You can go collect some, come back here, and there's a woman I can take you to that will put the power into a Dynamax Band, allowing you to Max in battle."
That would be useful, however if you do that it will add a minimum of an extra day to your journey, delaying your next Gym Battle, and letting Jerry get far ahead of you. So... what direction do you go?
