"You fought amazingly and earned a rest," you tell Ceruledge as you return it. Then, you send out Poiche. The plague doctor bows at the opponent, pushing out its cape as it does for flare.

"You seem to like advantage," Jeremiah observes. "But advantage means nothing if you don't have strength! Use Surging Strikes!"

Urshifu leaps forward, slamming its limbs into Poiche with swiftness and precision. Water flows with each strike, reminding you of a rushing river. It finishes the attacks with a punch to your Pokémon's gut, shattering some glass right before Poiche gets sent flying back. As Urshifu stands up straight, it flinches, taking damage from poison.

"Perfect," you exclaim from seeing the enemy's status condition. "Use Venoshock!"

Poiche gains its footing quickly, reaching into its coat and throwing a blob of purple ooze at Urshifu. The attack splatters onto the target, dealing big damage. This damage is barely noticeable, though, because the Wushu Pokémon is still standing tall, glaring at your Pokémon.

"You're already Poisoned, so no need to keep distance," the Gym Leader tells his Urshifu. "Use Revenge!"

The opponent runs at Poiche and gives it a hard punch in the face. The plague doctor gets knocked back a bit but is pretty fine. "That's nothing," you say. "Use Psyshock!"

"Not so fast," Jeremiah states. "Aqua Jet!" The Water/Fighting type quickly springs forward, ramming into Poiche while covered in water. This throws your Pokémon off balance, giving Urshifu another opening. "Follow up with Liquidation," your opponent commands.

The Wushu Pokémon covers all its limbs in water as it strike the Poison/Psychic type. Poiche crashes into the wall behind you and collapses to the ground. Urshifu stands up straight but instantly flinches from the poison.

"Are you alright," you ask your Pokémon. Poiche slowly rises to its feet and brushes itself off, giving you a weak nod. You know it's weak and needs a miracle if it wants to live long enough to win. "Time to take a chance," you tell it. "Use Healing Curse on yourself!"

Poiche looks at you with an expression of "are you crazy!?" However, it obeys anyways, hesitantly smashing a glass container onto itself. The whole room watches with anticipation, unsure of what will happen. After a couple seconds of nothing, you think the move failed. But then, Poiche lights up green and stands taller. completely healed. You smile with joy.

"It worked," you exclaim happily. That positive attitude is quickly turned negative when your Pokémon flinches from a Burn.

"The heal came with a cost," Jeremiah says, stating the obvious. "Quick! Use Aqua Jet!"

Urshifu leaps across the room covered in liquid, slamming into Poiche. The Plague Doctor keeps its ground this time, though, only getting pushed back a bit. "Retaliate with Psyshock," you command.

The Poison/Psychic type opens its coat, purple shards flying out of it. All them impale the opponent at once, sending it tumbling backwards. As Urshifu regains its balance, Poison kicks in. Poiche is looking at it take the status damage with a smug smirk, but that smirk quickly disappears as it flinches from Burn.

"I'll be honest. I didn't expect you to last this long," Jeremiah states, seeming impressed. "But we are ending this now. Use Surging Strikes!"

The Water/Fighting type begins an onslaught of hits on Poiche, dealing critical damage with each blow. You can't do anything but watch helplessly as your Pokémon gets destroyed by its opponent. Urshifu ends the attack with a backflip kick, sending the Plague Doctor straight up into the air.

"Follow up with Liquidation," the Gym Leader commands. The Wushu Pokémon rushes forward, limbs covered in water. It is going to end Poiche before it even hits the ground.

"Destiny Bond," you holler quickly. Poiche mutters a quick curse under its breath that covers it in a dark purple energy. As Urshifu hits it, the dark energy spreads to it. The Poison/Psychic type is sent crashing into the wall again, this time unconscious. Urshifu puts its arms in the air victoriously, but then gasp with shock as the Destiny Bond kick in. It, too, collapses to the ground with defeat.

"Your last-ditch effort succeeded," Jeremiah says as he returns his Pokémon. "I'm impressed."

"So am I," you tell him with a chuckle. The two of you return the fallen Pokémon and pull out y'all's next. He sends out a Gallade and you send out a…

I FORGOT TO SAY THIS EARLIER!!!

    You have Max Energy

I was so focused on getting the last part out I forgot to say it

    Sorry

    Anyways, you guys have:

    Ceruledge (Fire/Ghost) (Low on health)

    Eevee (Normal)

    Floragato (Grass)

If you're confused on how Poiche knows Destiny Bond, it learned it at 31 (it's 33)

If y'all want I can give a list of attacks that Lacos Pokémon learn at each level so you're not confused by their attacks

    Anyways…

Floragato (because Eevee, as it is, might be weak to the fighting part of the psychic/fighting type Gallade).

Floragato. Ceruledge is low on HP and Eevee would lose almost instantly.
