Deluxe Pack EX pokedex working as intended?

I was very excited for the new Deluxe Pack EX set, until I saw how it interacted with my card collection.

Example: Bulbasaur from Genetic Apex used to show up next to other Genetic Apex cards. Once I got a Bulbasaur from Deluxe Pack EX... It moved Bulbasaur to the bottom of my card list away from the other cards in GA set.

Sorting through my collection is now a convoluted and frustrating process. Is this working as intended? Will the pokedex and collection sorting return to normal once this pack is gone? Or have I broken my card collection forever??? I won't be getting more of this set until I know how it effects my collection tab… which sucks because I liked the concept.

    I opened one pack, saw how it put them in a new Dex, cancelled my Premium then went back to pulling old packs. I wish I’d never opened one because now I have 5 cards and hundreds of empty spaces. It would be better to have nothing at all. I don’t want to collect hundreds of things I already have. And Wonder Pick is a nightmare now too.

    I submitted a ticket to the support team like you suggested.

    This is what they responded with:

    "Thank you for contacting Pokémon Support!

    Cards obtained from Deluxe Pack: ex booster packs will be registered in the Deluxe Pack: ex Card Dex. They will not be registered in the Card Dex of previous expansions.

    Please let us know if you have any other questions and we'll be happy to help."...

    (Facepalm) I'm not sure if this was an A.I. ... But the "Agent" that was helping me completely missed the point. So I've sent a response in hopes that it finds a real person... or a less overworked person. Here is my response:

    "I understand that cards collected in the Deluxe Pack EX will be registered to the Deluxe Pack EX Pokedex.

    But what is happening is: cards I obtained PREVIOUSLY from PREVIOUS packs are being registered to the Deluxe Pack EX pokedex. And are therefore no longer being sorted correctly in my collection tabs."

    I just received another very quick response from "Agent_Devin".
