I heard you saying "The abilities blocking ex damage helps keep ex on check until you get the Ace Spec" wich one is the Ace spec?

    Neutralization Zone

It's an Ace Spec stadium that prevents Pokémon with Rule Boxes from damaging one without

Just took my first loss with this deck

Energy flow was almost non-existent, practically making me a sitting duck

So the deck has reached the part of it's career where anything that could go wrong does

The energy flow has just stopped and I only get the cards I need right as I lose

Also, I found someone use a deck I've never seen before!

They didn't use any ex either!

It was Hisuian Arcanine with Munkidori

They used stadiums like the one that does twenty damage when you attach an energy from your hand to your non-water Pokémon and when you put a non-dark Pokémon on your bench it does twenty damage to it

This immediately set up Hisuian Arcanine to use its no energy attack for 120 damage instead of 30!

And if damage got out of hand then they could just Munkidori it away to my already damaged instead.

    It's brilliant

I probably would have lost even if my deck worked right!

It also used the Punch Box (don't know it's name) to deal 40 damage to a Pokémon when it knocks them out.

    It was pure genius!

maybe it was my bad luck or the game just hates me

ran into a bunch of players who had 1 or 2 ex pokemon but the rest were regular, so the deck didn't work to my favor since they never had to worry about safeguard or neutralization zone

ran into 1 dark charizard deck, but then my internet crapped out and I got disconnected

it works but if the opponent realizes how the deck works, they work around it

For example: my last match was against a guy using a mega gengar ex, but it wasn't what his deck focused on…his deck was all about using weezing with "lets have a blast" and team rocket's weezing for "explode together now"

"let's have a blast" makes it so I couldn't risk an attack because then he'd get to flip a coin and take out my pokemon even if I won the combat

I won the match because I was able to at least get 1 of the Froslasses into play but it was alot of stalling and even when I won, I won only because he made a mistake and put his Fezendipity EX into play against my Crustle…when he saw that Crustle takes no damage from EX attacks, he immediately conceded

still the deck works when it wants to, but when players realize what it's set up to do, they simply have to avoid using EX pokemon

    Yeah

I had a few people realize what was happening and try to put non-ex in play but by then I'm set up and normally one shot them (sometimes with the help of Froslass and Munkidori)

My problem is literally the energies

It has started holding them and the cards I need to get them away from

It even started holding back my evolutions

Then of coarse the last deck I battled didn't use ex

Like I said in one of your posts, I'll get amazing luck for a few days, but after that I get the worst luck ever

Anyways, sorry it didn't work for you!

hey, no need to apologize for the game's dislike of me, it's a fun deck that works great against EX focused players

just gotta adjust when the realize what the deck is all about

also, thinking of pokemon that counter EX pokemon…I'm reminded of Zoroark from Shrouded Fable, used to run it in my Darkrai V-star deck

Zoroark had 1 ability that caught many EX users off guard…Illusory Hijacking. For 2 energy, this attack deals 60 damage for every EX pokemon your opponent has in play for a possible max of 360 damage

if all they had is EX pokemon, throw out neutralization zone and Zoroark becomes an EX assassin
