Every Trainer has an origin story. What first got you into Pokémon - was it the anime, games, cards, or something else?

    It was actually toys from McDonalds. I got a Pikachu that lit up when you rolled it around and a card. After that I asked my mom for more cards. After my collection began I wanted to see where they came from and I found the anime. I started in the X and Y era of Pokémon, but didn't start playing the video games until Sword and Shield. Long story short, McDonalds,

    A friend liked the cards a lot and we would play together soon he had me hooked on it!

    I started by watching my cousin play pokemon legends arceus then I tried it. Now pokemon is my favorite game.

    I had a childhood friend who collected the cards and introduced me to the Anime series!

    It was the cards first in 2017. After a few years, I started playing Black and White. I've been playing the games for hours ever since!

    When I was in kindergarten someone brought in Pokemon cards and was giving them out, and after I got one I was interested in collecting more. From there I got super into Pokemon as a whole!

    It's a bit funny though because the thing that got me into Pokemon was of all things a root fossil

    i've been playing since gen 1!!! i got and old Gameboy and borrowed blue from my cousin, then was able to get my own copy of silver when it came out!

    Greetings!

    My first contact with pokemon starts with anime. After that I play my first pokemon game of 'Pokemon Blue'. Always loved the series and games. Until that, I play all pokemon games and recently I'm playing Pokemon legends: Z-A.

    I first got into Pokemon while playing Pokemon Red when it first came out on gameboy. I was fascinated by the game and loved the franchise.
