Additional Game Modes: Gym Battles

Honestly, I love this game! I do think there is a big missed opportunity for content though. Adding a Gym Battle mode would be amazing!

Have a solo game mode that allows players to battle their way through various gyms from the different regions! Having to defeat 2 or 3 trainers before battling the gym leader and have their decks be themed. Build the gym leaders deck around iconic pokemon such as Misty's Starmie or Brock's Onyx. Rewards could vary from hourglasses to exclusive cards only obtained by defeating the gym leaders (EX. Could be gym leader combo cards like Gio's Persian or Cynthia's Garchomp, or different full art cards)

After collecting all badges from a region, allow players to battle the elite four of that region and provide rewards as well

I think this would be so nostalgic and educational as well! I am a 1st gen - 3rd gen type of guy and dont know much about other gens or regions outside of those but would love to learn about them as I play!

Food for thought, i think this would change the game completely and bring another level instead of just random battles, a difficult ranked system, and the occasional events!
