Let me know if you feel I'm being too controlling on this next part. I'm only doing it to keep everything running smoothly, but if it's too much let me know!
If you do participate, I'd like if you could;
Complete your chapter within a week of it being your turn. This keeps it in a timely manner and helps keep everyone engaged. If you need an extention, talk to me. I'm always willing to understand negotiate.
Don't undo something someone else has. If there is something you want to do, like learn a new move, but it means erasing something someone in the past did, please check with them first. I don't want any tension between us. If your time is coming to an end and the person doesn't respond, ask me please. I'll deal with it if it becomes an issue.
Please read past chapters. You need to stay relevant and know what all has happened to keep everything consistent.
Now then, let's say you don't want to write a Trial but instead some fluff in-between. I'm completely fine with that! Just make sure an important event happens, like a new Pokémon, new move, evolution, etc. As long as one or a mix of those happen, fluff is fine! If you want to write a Trial and fluff, though, I'm cool with that, too. However, the same rules apply to you as the others. Must be done within a week and needs an important event. If you want to divide it into parts, please try to keep it at 4 or less. I don't want any one person to get more than the others. Also, for the important event, don't do multiple of the same one. One new Pokémon, one new move, one evolution. The last two I said can happen during battle, too. It's not restricted to fluff.

When you explain the Trials, try to keep it vague that way people can still make them how they want. It is based more off the anime.
I don't care which starter you choose, either. It can be any of them!
I do have a request, and don't feel obligated to do it. After choosing a starter, could you journey out a bit and catch a Jangmo-o? The main character needs one.
Last thing. The main character's name is Izzy. If their male the real name is Isaiah but he goes by Izzy. If female she's Isabella but goes by Izzy. If non-binary it's just Izzy.
No rush to start! Looking forward to your introduction!

Do you have a general idea on what the prologue should be like or do I have full creative liberty?

The only thing I say is introduce Izzy, what they're doing, maybe why (not required), and getting to Kukui, where you will choose one of the three Alola starters and He'll explain the Trials. We still don't have a trial one writer, so we can't list the types each trial will be on, but I'm thinking to describe it as "Each trial will have their own rules determined by the Trial Captain. Upon defeat they will get you a Z-Crystal of their type. Here's a Z-Ring to set you off." You don't have to use those exact words unless you want to. Just something like that.
Also, if you agree to the Jangmo-o part (again, not mandatory) you'll set Izzy off to their first Trial and along the route they'll encounter it.
I don't know if that's a lot, but I'm trying not to restrain you much. I'm not in a rush for you to get it done, either. We still don't have Trial One, so nobody is waiting.

Ill take trial 1 and use fire. Also is there a set deadline for this stuff because I have school and band and I don't wanna feel too rushed
