Can’t redeem pack codes

hi all, created an app account using my Apple ID, went to redeem codes using Pokemon.com/redeem and account wasn’t recognised (same email) then I made a account on the web browser using same email and it says “you need to play pokemon TCG to redeem this code” even though I’m logged in and playing on the app. There’s obviously some sort of sync issue, can someone help? Thanks
