Type cheeseburgers

Cheeseburgers are not the best. Cheeseburgers are edible, but cheeseburgers are not very delicious. I do not eat cheeseburgers very often, due to a cheeseburgers' lack of flavor. I prefer hot dogs over cheeseburgers. Hence, I refuse to type cheeseburgers.

Should "burger" have an apostrophe? Should it be capitalized? The word "hamburger" doesn't come from ham, but rather the city of Hamburg, in Germany. It's not about the meat it's made from, as hamburgers are typically made from beef, not ham. It comes from the place of origin. As "Hamburg" is a proper noun, it should be capitalized. And "burger" came as a shortening of "hamburger". Apostrophes are used to indicate omission of letters. Logically, shouldn't that mean that instead of "cheeseburger", we should say "cheese 'Burger"?
