Play with family/friends??

It seems all of the games are random, however my kids and I all play pokemon and I also have nephews that play that live in a different state.
Please expand a lobby system.

There's a friends list under the in-game profile section where you can add each other and invite each other to games, however it is limited to Standard format, so you cannot play older cards in Expanded format in friend battles.
