A remake of Pokémon Yellow, these two games are the first mainline Pokémon games to be introduced on the switch in 2018. Meant to bridge Pokémon GO with the mainline games, it brought forward a catching system that was very similar to Pokémon GO and allowed for two players to play on the same console at the same time. It had a special Pokéball controller to better simulate throwing a Pokéball and included Mew. It was also the first Pokémon game to limit the Pokémon allowed in the game, cementing the removal of the National Dex. Has anyone here played this title, and if so what version did you choose and what is your experience with this game?

Me personally I played Let's Go Pikachu because I prefer Pikachu and I played Yellow. I liked it but in all honesty it was kinda lame that it was 100% the old games with very minimal new as I expected something more like ORAS with expanded content.

Let’s Go Pikachu was actually the first mainline game I played.

I really like Pokémon Let'go Eevee, especially since I love Eevee, it's a shame they're forgotten, but they're really amazing, What I love about Pokémon Let'go Pikachu and Eevee is this revisitation of Kanto Regional, which is very iconic and fun

i love the idea that you can boost the power of your pokemon with candy. Candy obtained by catching pokemon which is the main focus of the game. This is one of my favorite ways to play the game and I want a sequel game. It's just hard to justify playing it more when there is no endgame.

I mean most of the new Pokémon games don't have much of an endgame anyways, its pretty much just a paid extra.

I, personally, think they are great games. The catching system is fun, the story is great, the graphics are good, and the overworld is great. I love how you can ride on your own pokemon, and the shiny hunting system is fun. They needed a dlc in the orange islands though.
