Canceling Cologne and Comfy

I played Canceling Cologne against a lost zone engine deck and when I played canceling Cologne during my turn. My opponent could still use all their comfys' ability flower selecting during their turn.

I made that mistake before. The text for Cancelling Cologne reads:
Until the end of your turn, your opponent’s Active Pokémon has no Abilities. (This includes Pokémon that come into play during that turn.)
Note that it's the end of your turn, not theirs! It's used to cancel abilities that prevent you from doing something, such as Miltank's Miracle Body or Galarian Weezing's Neutralizing Gas to name a few.
