A lot has been said already to capture how awful this system is, but just in case a developer actually sees this, here are a few suggestions for improvements:
. Remove trade tokens altogether since trading is time-gated (ideal but not likely)
. Increase ways to get tokens (spending shop tickets, generating from opening packs, rewards from winning in PVP). I believe all of these things (even if the amount is 1-20 tokens) would improve the system and other aspects of the game.
. Get tokens from 1 and 2 diamond cards.
. Open the rarity up for everything under 3 or 4 diamond
. Create an option to see what your trade partner has so you can know your options.

The only thing I can understand is the promos. Everything else, couldn't agree more. But it's a matter of time they change it seeing the subscriptions count plummet. Hope they do something soon enough for those players (including me) to come back before we leave permanently.

Like how we showcase a binder on our profile, and have a screen to like others - it would be great to have a trade section on profile, to show what cards we want, and a screen so we can see what others want to trade, and the ability to instigate a trade from either. At the moment it’s a guessing game, so illogical - anything that sends your user base out of the app (to seek trading forums) is a bad user experience, and leads to the frustration you see here.

Why can't it just be like the GTS in the pokemon games? You request a card that you WANT TO GET and put up what you're willing to let go for it.

crazy that there is not a single positive sentiment here, yet you know they won’t change it.
this game could have been good enough to last for a long time, but this is so bad it will tank the game. Unlike physical cards that can’t be taken or lost, digital goods are nearly worthless due to them not being truly “owned”. Yet mobile games cost so much money because a few people will pay for it.Sad honestly that people will play these games despite the situation.
