We Want Turkish Language Support

Hello,

As Pokémon TCG Pocket players in Turkey, we would like to see Turkish language support added to the game. We are ready to provide any assistance necessary to help make this happen. If English texts are published on an online platform, we would be proud to assist in translating them into Turkish.

Bunun mümkün olabileceğinden emin değilim ama olabilir. (Turkish)
I'm not sure it could be possible, but it could be.

As a programmer, I can say it can be. Because generally language system is a file. If developers want to add new language, they adds new translated language file. Also AI translators like deepl can be translate this file.

I would say it is generally in everyone's interests to enable every game in as many languages as possible.

English is the lingua franca, and Japanese was always going to be a default given the origins of the franchise. European languages such as French and Spanish are also widely used around the world, so were going to get a pass.

Other languages with a smaller pool of speakers were always going to be overlooked, unfortunately. Especially in the early version of the game.

But I hope that more languages are supported in future updates. Best of luck.

Thank you for your good wishes. You are right, the languages you mentioned are usually given importance. But if a company wants to develop in other countries and increase its market, localization is the first step.

This is what we want as gamers. From here, the rest is at the discretion of the development team.
