Diamonds generated after profile level up but in the end I am never rewarded the new amount

When my profile levels up there is a pop window that says that I was rewarded with 100 diamonds. I click the collect button the newly generated diamonds "move" to the top right of the screen in order to be merged with my current diamond amount.
But, the diamond amount never changes and it remains as it was before I leveled up.
This was surely observed during last 6(maybe more) level ups.
