Probably one way to balance the game is to make 'ex' cards one per deck?

I think this is a very bad idea and completely underminds the cards. If your having trouble build some counter decks or hope RNG isnt on there side.

I LOVE this idea due to them being, ideally, not something to be the core first draw of any deck. Ex was never meant to be a starter where decks could easily be ex-only, like Pikachu Ex can be. Making them a chance pull by being a one per deck is AMAZING and makes the rarity more awesome and fun. Then they don't need to be as perfectly balanced.

Currently, decks without two Exes or more are pretty much dead in water, verrrrry few work well. Dragonite comes to mind, as well as Brock decks or the reckless mankey rush. Making a 1 Ex rule would MASSIVELY diversify the meta.

Stop with this ex hating nonsense… this game is a simplified version of the original Pokemon TCG and this is how the TCG Pocket is… the Pocket main (and only so far) format will not change until the next "era" (or rotation if Pocket will have it)…

The only possible thing that could eventually happen is adding new game modes, but it's extremely unlikely that a no ex/single ex mode will ever be available, because that was never a thing in "recent" times, there were always big Pokemon like EX, GX, VMAX, VSTAR, etc. and now ex.

The most likely game format that they will add would be Themed decks format (aka Pre-Constructed decks), because the game already has the themed decks, so it's not hard to see them adding that format (and the old Theme format actually had a large amount of online players in the TCG Online).
