What is the dumbest thing you've done in a pokemon game?

I threw a Master ball on a Munchlax in one of the MANY SM/USUM playthroughs I did as a kid (it wasted all my ultra balls and I took ages trying to find it), and then, because I didn't know the difference between affection and friendship, I kept feeding it rainbow beans and levelling it up so it can become a Snorlax, but it didn't (since even though I raised its affection I didn't raise the friendship level) so I got frustrated and put it in the box forever.

I remember that maybe a few days or weeks later I got a Riolu and finally learnt that friendship and affection are separate mechanics (I'm pretty sure I didn't learn that through the Internet, but by talking to the friendship checking lady in Konikoni), so I kept feeding it malasadas (since I was a kid back then, I did not know how natures and favourite flavours are connected, so I figured out its favourites by going to EVERY malasada shop and trying every single flavour) and going to the massage lady everyday, and it eventually became a Lucario.

But as I said, I boxed the Muchlax forever. I told myself I wouldn't put it on my team ever again and I did not lie. Even though I learnt what I did wrong, I didn't want to fix my mistakes.

But anyways, being a kid and figuring out how everything worked on my own instead of browsing the Internet for way too long or watching rabbit hole videos was fun, even if it did result in me throwing a Master ball at a Muchlax.
