Hybrid Decks

Currently, it’s very difficult to build viable hybrid decks because the automatic energy system favors single-type energy decks, giving them a clear advantage. This makes it challenging to explore more diverse strategies.

To resolve this, I suggest an improvement: when players choose multiple energy types, the system alternates between the selected types each turn.

What do you think? Would this change make hybrid decks more viable and encourage diverse strategies?

Agreed! Hybrid decks are great, but the almost COMPLETELY rng based, during one battle i tried with a hybrid i got only one type of energy until almost round 15 when i got the second type energy just to lose without being able to attack

Only viable hybrid deck right now is the classic x type + normal.

What I think is that the game just released weeks ago… give it time to release new sets with more trainers and more Pokemon… this is just the beginning, also don't forget the tool cards are coming soon, that will boost a lot of decks/Pokemon.

My thoughts is allowing us to pick how likely each energy shows up, for example: I'm building a mainly grass deck however i want to add a fighting and a dark Pokémon but only there energy once or twice threw out the match.
in base tcg you would do this by only adding 1 or 2 energy of that type to the deck, here we could have 2 options:
1st. Percent Sliders that allow us to adjust the frequency of each energy and how often they show up.
2nd. 3 pre set frequencies most likely to show up, sometimes to show up and least likely to show up.
