How are stat records maintained in PTCGL?

I recently started playing the game. I haven't yet played more than 20 games on PTCGL, but when I went to check my stats, it is showing 48 games played. How is this
even possible?

Something is completely broken tonight - I just lost 400+ ladder points from one game (that I won). I gained +960 exp from the match which is not theoretically possible, and then after the game I'm missing 400 ladder points. I went to check my stats, and out of nowhere I have +850 games played and +850 losses.

Suddenly, about 70 games were added on their own, all of which were counted as losses. It's sucks.
