Only thing I miss from Gen 2 onward is the XP bar. Always disliked having to open the menu to check on my Pokémon's XP progress. I understand why they split the Special stat but in doing so they nerfed my favorite Pokémon. Ninetales 100 SpA + SpD in Gen 1 goes to 80/100 respectively. 😪 Upside to Generation 1 though is that completing the Pokedex is just the first 151… and can be achieved without "trading". 😁

I grew up with gen 6 and the old gens are fun to play through, they are worth playing through (but getting them is another story, 100$ for platinum on eBay).

though I started with gen 8 games I later bought a 3ds and started getting games and I notice that even 3ds games are starting to get rare & I know that when the switch 2 will be closer to the end of its life cycle switch games will be getting rarer and 3ds games will start being in the hundreds and who knows how overly expensive ds games would be

those are probably the most available games I barely was able to get mystery dungeon gates to infinity and Kirby triple deluxe now they are sold out so I probably would not worry about those selling out though if you want to play super mystery dungeon I fell that it’s most likely next
