Why can Abra as a catachable NPC Wild Pokémon not evolve in Pokémon UNITE?

I knew that the Pokémon UNITE devs have included Abra as a catchable NPC wild Pokémon, but refused to let them evolve into Kadabra or into Alakazam. Now I wonder why you think? Please let me know, thanks.😉

I think it also affected the mainline games, I remember that trading a Kadabra will make it evolve even if it's holding an Everstone. I'm not sure though as I've never tried trading a Kadabra with an Everstone before. It's just that what they did in the TCG was more obvious and notable. I think it also affected the anime and other things.

They probably would've removed Kadabra completely if it weren't weird to make a Pokémon and then delete it from existence the next game, especially since it's part of an evolution line.
