I think we all need to remember that sometimes winning can be based on how you draw your cards. I agree the Lugia VStar is an overpowered deck, but I've beaten it a few times because I had a particularly good draw or my opponent had a particularly bad one.

I also think that you have to remember that all players are different and have varying levels of skill with their decks. Someone who is really good with a Palkia deck for instance could beat someone who is not as skilled with their Lugia deck. I do think the Lugia deck, though, makes it difficult for beginners to get off the ground. It is hard to earn the currency to get new cards that help you combat Lugia, if you can't win your battles.

I also think the Lugia deck pushes strength over intelligence, and this means that it can't compete with someone who plays intelligently, but its strength can easily overwhelm even the most smart and experienced of players.

The problem of game freezing is the most troubling.

@EmpresPalpatina Uh... It's an archetype. All decks under the same umbrella run about the same. I don't know what you're expecting.

Before you say Arceus, that's because Arceus is an engine in most cases. Palkia takes up too many resources to function as an engine.
