    that depends because that's their choice. Fossil pokemon aren't fake nor artificial. Also, I would like to see a dragon type fossil pokemon minus rock for the first time.

    @MajorBrendan

    Fossil pokemon aren't fake nor artificial.

    Citation? In which game do they explain the process?

    I play throughout the pokemon games and I haven't seen one that says pokemon fossils were fake nor artificial.

    So have I. Multiple times.

    I am asking what they are. How does the process work? How can you prove the scientists aren't creating fake creatures designed to look like the fossils.

    If they are created from fossils, where did the DNA come from? Because fossils don't contain DNA.

    A plesiosaur. It would be pretty cool, and I already have a drawing for one! What a cute guy.

    WAIT! Scyther Kabutops and Genesect all look really similar could they be an evolution line?

    Like some traits of Kabutops evolved into Scyther and then Team Plazma recreated Kabutops as Genesect

    I know it doesn't make sense but it's a cool comparison

    @TheJeffers @MajorBrendan

    What about the galarian fossils? None of them have the rock type!

    P.S. I know that they aren't the right Pokemon but still.

    It's because Galarian fossils are fragmented like the people in Galar and their excessive reliance on Dynamax energy.

    I don't think that it has anything to do with dynamax energy
