Stuck on match intro screen

I encountered an error in which the game gets stuck on the match intro screen showing both players and their scores. The game was able to be played as usual for the other player and the effects for things like evolving played out as if nothing was wrong. I was unable to see mine or my opponent's cards, so the game became unplayable. Once the match ended, the both player models zoomed out to show the full model. I don't know what caused the issue, but the game board showed up before the intro screen. If anyone else has encountered this and knows more about it, please let the community know how to avoid it.
