which is why I insist on an expansion on the move set as well as something more akin to anime. Such as vocal commands.

@MajorBrendan I do agree that pokemon should develop less RPG style games. I think a game similar to Unite where you've got a team of six-- still with the four moves to be easy for the controller-- all duking it out and fighting just in a natural game of war.

Pokémon being turn-based is actually good. It allows you to take your time and not feel too stressed during battles.

And, though having more than four moves would change competitive, it wouldn't be a very good change. Having to actually be decisive and choose only four moves makes the battles and training Pokémon so much more exciting.

@OlderAngel11 you misunderstood what I'm saying, it's possible that post gen 10 game would still be rpg but the battles would be a different matter especially where the number of attacks in a move set would be increased in a mean of expansion of strategy. Vocal commands might also give an akin to anime such as block and dodge.

I get that a lot. I would present all the concepts the greatly consider with Pokemon battles evolving relying less on turn based battles. Requiring quick responses similar to some of the action rpg.

I think something that would be very fun would be two player mode. There are internet features and the union circle, but this requires the use of another console. My idea is that you could play with someone else with an account on the same device, that way you can play with friends and family without another Switch.

@Tacolaser internet features is one thing but no more union circle. I already have enough of a headache from that as it is.

Maybe not gen 10 but in the future it would be cool if AI learning would be in the games. The pokemon in your party would get inputs of the trainer using super effective moves or effective lowing of stats(when a stat being lowered means it takes the opponent more turns to faint your party or takes equal or less turns to be fainted).

@Eremas What if post gen 10 games would forego 4 move limit and the turn based battles? May that would be interesting to think about.
