How does Aegislash Mysterious Shield ability work?
I've played multiple games trying it out and came to conclusion that there is plenty of ex at least that is able to insta kill and do dmg on Aegislash even when it has its "Prevent all damage done to this Pokemon by attacks from your opponent's Pokemon ex and Pokemon V." ability. Tsareena ex is still able to use Icicle Sole and Roaring Moon Frenzied Gouging. As far as I know it includes damage to knock out a card or to put damage counters to a card. So is Aegislash Mysterious Shield not working correctly or am I just missing something?

There's 2 types of damage, the regular one the number that it's printed mostly at the right side of the attack or if states what type of damage is going to be ex: "this attack does 90 damage", and there's the effect damage of damage counters which is the case of tsareena ex Icicle sole. So the damage is prevented but not the effect, roaring moon Frenzied Gouging it does not deal damage, but instead KO by effect, it's a little confusing and some cards should have clearer redaction for sure. In short if the aegislash say something like "prevent all damage and damage counters from pokemon ex, v" etc. It would work against tsareena ex but not against roaring moon
