My first Pokemon game was Pokemon Black and PokéPark 2: Wonders Beyond

@UnovanZorua My first game was also X, though I had played the spinoffs Pokemon Ranger Guardian Signs and Pokemon Rumble Blast before that.
Gen V is probably where I would say my bias lies. About the time I was getting into Pokemon, BW were in development, and though I didn't play the mainline games I did collect cards and play other games. Plus, I just really like a lot of the Gen V Pokemon.

My first game was Violet and I was totally unfazed when I started playing Sword, Pokemon game #2, but I guess it was because I knew that the open-world gameplay of SV was a new feature and also because I used to play Let's go Pikachu on my friend's Switch, so yeah
