The new patch nerfs the unplayed
A new post-worlds patch has arrived, and at this point it’s tradition to make a post on it. It seemed pretty good, until they buffed Buzzwole. I HATE Unite Buzzwole, it’s so oppressive in lane that you don’t get a chance to play until mid-late game. Leech life does ridiculous amounts of damage paired with insane cc and healing, and its kit has plenty of options for shutting any melee Pokémon down. Thank Arceus only the less dangerous moves got buffed, or the ladder would once again be nothing but Buzzwole.
The other buffs are pretty neat, nothing to really say other than it’s good to see less played Pokémon get buffs.
Now for the nerfs, and wait DURALDON of all Pokémon got nerfs?! It’s almost never played, last time I checked in the bottom 5. It’s okay, and it deserves to stay where it is or get buffs, so a nerf is not what I expected. They’ve got to stop nerfing mid Pokémon, Scizor and Duraladon being the main victims.
And GREEDENT AS WELL?! explodes
The poor chonky squirrel was doing just fine, they didn’t need to screw them over :(
At least they were some great nerfs, Reshiram, Yahvultal and Feraligatr (all very oppressive to the meta), all got grey nerfs that should make them no longer S+ tier, but still good.

It wasn't bad, most of the nerfs were expected and needed... but I was also surprised by the Buzzwole buffs and a couple of other nerfs.
And again... sadly no love for so many old Pokemon.

Yeah, the Buzzwole buff surprised me.
Again, another yo-yo... They buff, they nerf, then they buff him again. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of him in ranked again.
Hmmmm, I wonder who people will ban now?

I'm not a huge fan of the Buzzwole buffs or the Duraludon nerfs, but I actually don't mind the Greedent nerfs because that [curse word] squirrel is such a menace when played right and left players pretty much unable to play.
The one I specifically despise is the Comfey nerfs. The few human Comfey mains left have nothing to do anymore because everyone will rattle them for being a bot since the bots are everywhere now, and Sweet Kiss, the best thing in its kit, got nerfed.
I'm fine with everything else, but I really think that Timi's just trying to pull the plug already..

Funny thing, yesterday before the updates were released and occured, people already started using the soon-to-be buffed ones in ranked. It's funny because they were expecting buffs but didn't get them yet. And YES, there were more Buzzwoles in the ranked games I played too. 😐 Pre-buff.

I think they need to debuff buzzwole extremely, cause I can't get 2 seconds out of the protection zone without being stunlock instakill combo'd from full hp

They need to nerf buzzwole hella, cause I can't get 2 seconds without getting stunlocked in that stupid leach life combo I HATE BUZZWOLE
