I wouldn't aim for Champion - too much responsibility. I'd just kinda relax with my pokemon and battle with my friends here and there.

In Pokémon Flux, instead of giving an untrustworthy corporation the power core for the legendary I just worked hard to defeat, I instead keep it for myself and have 2 legendaries on my team. There’s a part in the story where you have to choose to support the slightly deranged rogue or the not very smart corporation, neither of which I like, but I had to choose one. If I had control, I would say no to both and instead burn them with Lord Birb, and then join the mysterious street biker who actually helped me defeat the villains.

I live vicariously on Cycling Road, training my team of Pokémon again and again before going to Celadon City to recover. I train my team so much that Giovanni makes me his right hand man and I take over the Kanto region while becoming it's Champion. Giovanni makes me his heir and everything becomes mine in the end.
