    I would imagine that admins and mods are paid employees of TPCi rather than volunteers selected from the community.

    But I could be wrong. I have no knowledge or insight into the internal workings of this website. Only my own best guesses.

    It is possible that they might recruit moderators from the community. Again, I have no knowledge of their hiring practices either, so that is just a guess.
