It sometimes happens even when only one person is tagged. I didn't get notified when @Hades0918 quoted my comment in the Battle of the Birds: Round 1 Pairing 1 thread, even though no one else is tagged or quoted in it or my original comment.

No, notification. I came back because it said on the Discussions list of all the recent threads that there was a new comment by you that I hadn't seen. It was not in my notifications list or that pop up thingy.😕
