I tried pineapple pizza for the first time recently. This was the first time I've ever eaten pineapple as far as I know. I don't remember the exact taste because it was yesterday, but I do remember expecting it to be more crunchy and thinking it's like if tomatoes tasted very sweet, and not enjoying the pineapple much due to that. I can now see why people dislike it as someone who hates tomatoes. I can also understand why people like it, because it's still much, much, much, better than tomatoes.
