It's probably Generation 10, but we know that's happening no matter what. So, here are the options just pretend this is a poll.

🟥 Black and White 3 (oras and hgss style)

🟧 Let's Go Johto

🟩 Legends Kyurem

🟦 Black and White remakes (bdsp style)

    Back and White 3 would be great, but somehow I doubt we are getting that. It will probably be remakes.

    Legends Kyurem could be interesting but I am not sure what form that would take beyond Legends Arceus again. Does anyone have an interest in Let's Go? I thought that mostly served as a title to tide over Pokemon fans when the Switch lacked a real Pokemon game. Surely Go fans have Pokemon Go?

    I feel like its going to be Black and White remakes but it isn't going to be in bdsp style (if Pokemon learned anything from the disastrous bdsp). The Black and White remake might be more like oras and it includes contents from bw and b2w2.

    The only one of those that has any shot is Let's Go (how have fans still not realized that these remakes happen every *other* generation), and I'd still call that a longshot. My answer is an easy "none of the above."

    @TechHog not true. Firered/leaf green were Gen III and HGSS were Gen IV.

    BDSP-style Gen 5 remakes would be the worst, yet I doubt it'll happen. It's possible that we could get both Gen 5 remakes and either a third game or a Legends game that can possibly be about the original Unovan dragon.

    @D-ManBlue I knew someone would bring that up. Yes, that's the one exception. It's pretty clear what the pattern after that has been though, so it's irrelevant.

    there were a lot of Johto references in BDSP so i want to see ILCA remake HGSS so we can play johto without HMs, have built in EXP share, and play the battle frontier again.
