Thoughts on champions
Ive been playing for about two hours now and i think its safe to say its decent leaning more towards the good side. Let's start with the bad.
The only problems I have are the tutorial. The talking is really slow and I just spammed A most of the time. But once its done, the rest is fun. I also want to say, when the pokemon are asleep, they look laggy. And there's some pokemon that cant be brought into Champions like rillaboom, gholdengo, and urshifu. Which sucks for now, but they might give Urshifu and Rillaboom their gmaxs in the future. Don't know about gholdengo. Last thing, but the shop barely has any held items, but I think their saving it for the future also.
Now the good. The gameplay is pretty smooth, and I love the attack animations. Meteor beam is my favorite. The music is also very good. I think it has a lot of inspiration from the galar games. The training is also very easy and fun. Recruit can be annoying, but the concept is cool.
Overall, this game is fun and I definitely recommend for new players wanting to get into VGC.

The shop barely has any held items?! Come on, we kind of need those!

Okay I played about thirty minutes and have few complaints. One is that since the EV system looks slighfly different I have to translate my noted stats to its version. Two is honestly pointless and I feel like I shouldn’t have a complaint like this, but… I wanna nickname my Pokemon!!!

- Click on the Pokémon whose name you want to change.
- Press "Check summary."
- Press the X button on your controller.
- Click "Change Battle Name," the first option on the menu that appears.

idk how i feel about it. I keep haveing disconecting issuse even when i have full wifi bars
